13 African’s Who Could Feature In UEFA Champions League Round Of 16
The UEFA Champions League Round of 16 is bound to be a mouth-watering affair, as we see Paris Saint-Germain come up against current holders Real Madrid and Chelsea take on LaLiga Leaders FC Barcelona. To increase all this the excitement, we decided to bring you 13 African stars who could feature at some point in the tournament.

According to ESPN, it has been six years since the African continent has produced a Champions League winner and while Besiktas, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Shakhtar Donetsk and AS Roma don't have any in their squads the other 11 teams however do.
Premier Leauge outfit Liverpool have three African players in their squad this season, they are Sadio Mane, Joel Matip and also CAF and BBC African Footballer of the Year in Mohamed Salah.
Serie A giants Juventus amongst three other sides that have two African stars in their ranks. The Old Lady have Morroco international Medhi Benatia ad Ghanaian Kwadwo Asamoah wearing the black and white stripes.
Two players that aren’t expected to be used this round, but who have been registered to play for their squads in this tournament are Achraf Hakimi of Real Madrid and Manchester City stalwart Yaya Toure.
Other Africans who could feature in the Round of 16 are Serge Aurier, Victor Wanyama, Vincent Aboubakar, Waris Majeed, Christian Nkunku, Eric Bailly and Victor Moses.
