Reports claim that the French giants’ Neymar will be the highest paid player on the field with his weekly wage of £445 000 (R7.34 million) – making him the best earner.
His counterpart, Cristiano Ronaldo, is believed to be on £365 000 (R6 million) every week at the Spanish giants, although it has rumoured that the 33-year-old is after a bigger contract in Spain.
Ronaldo’s colleague Gareth Bale comes in at third with his weekly wage of £350 000 (R5.77 million), while 19-year-old PSG star Kylian Mbappe is believed to earn £310 000 (R5.11 million) a week.
PSG’s Dani Alves reportedly earns £205 000 (R3.38 million) weekly in France, while Toni Kroos, Sergio Ramos and Marcelo are all said to be on £200 000 (R3.3 million) a week at Los Blancos.
Ex-Real star Angel Di Maria, who joined PSG in 2015 from Manchester United, is in at ninth on the list with his earnings of £186 000 (R3 million) a week, followed by Real’s Luka Modric, who reportedly gets paid £180 000 (R2.97 million) every week.
