CR7 Shines As Man Utd Ease Pressure On Ole With Big Win

Cristiano Ronaldo played a starring role as Manchester United got back to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday evening.

There was nothing Lloris could do on 39 minutes when Bruno Fernandes lofted the ball to Ronaldo, who sent fine first-time volley into the back of the net to send his leading into the break.

Spurs were booed off by the supporters at the break, but they nearly pulled themselves level two minutes into the second half when Heun-min Son, who curled one just wide of the upright.

However, it was United who got the second goal as Ronaldo turned provider to pick out Cavani who took one touch before lobbing the on-rushing Lloris just after the hour mark.

While Spurs were unable managed to carve out a couple half chances, United went on to seal the win in the 87th minute as two substitutes combined with Nemanja Matic playing in Marcus Rashford, who slotted into the far corner.
