Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan were among the goals as Arsenal defeated Watford 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Gunners got off a fine start as Shkodran Mustafi rose well to head home Mesut Ozil's free-kick into the far corner, racking up Arsenal's 1,000th home goal in the Premier League era.
Watford nearly hit back four minutes later but Petr Cech produced a good save to deny Abdoulaye Doucoure from just inside the box.
The visitors should have restored parity in the 26th minute when Cech palmed Richarlison's free-kick into the path of Roberto Pereyra, who blazed over the crossbar from six-yards out.
Cech came to Arsenal's rescue on the stroke half-time as he produced a fine save at his near post to keep out Richarlison's header to enter the break still leading.
The visitors enjoyed a good start to the second half, but it was the Gunners who grabbed a second goal as Mkhitaryan played in Aubameyang, who rounded goalkeeper Orestis Karnezis to slot into an empty net in the 59th minute.
However, Watford were awarded a penalty two minutes later when Pereyra was brought down. Troy Deeney stepped up but had his spot-kick saved by Cech.
The third goal arrived in the 77th minute as Aubameyang turned provider to tee up Mkhitaryan, who slotted past Karnezis from just inside the box.
That proved to the final bit of goal-mouth action as the Gunners end their three-game losing run in the league.
