Zlatan Makes Bold Claim After Shock Juve Defeat

In high spirits after AC Milan handed Juventus a shock 4-2 defeat on Tuesday night, Zlatan Ibrahimovic made a bold claim about the Serie A title race.

Juve looked on track to collect another three points and go 10 points clear of Lazio in the Serie A title race before conceding three goals in the space of just six minutes in the second half.

The Bianconeri were leading 2-0 courtesy of strikes by Adrien Rabiot and Ronaldo, but then Milan turned the game on its head.

Ibrahimovic, who scored the first of his side's four goals on the night, later claimed that the Rossoneri would be ahead of Juventus on the log had he joined them at the beginning of the season.

"I am president, player and coach! The only negative is that I only get paid for being a player," he said after the match, as quoted by Football Italia.

"If I had been here from the first day of the season, then we would've won the Scudetto."

Ibrahimovic was then asked about his future at Milan, and seemingly hinted that he could leave the Italian giants when the season is over.

"We'll see, we'll see. There is a month still to enjoy myself, but there is a strange situation going on and we are not in control of that," the Swede added.

"I don't know if the fans have seen me live for the last time. It could well be, yes. Why? Read between the lines… It's strange playing behind closed doors, as if San Siro had been a full house, it would've been wonderful tonight.

"I am really enjoying myself at Milan, as I went to America, I got injured, I wanted to feel alive. I'm 38 years old, I don't have the physique that I had, but I am smart about it. I don't try to do the same things I did when I was 20.

"If I don't make the difference, then I don't like that. I am not here to be a mascot. I am here to help my teammates, club and fans."
