According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri is the best-paid manager in the Italian top flight, earning €7 million (R108 million) per annum. The 50-year-old has finished runners-up twice in the UEFA Champions League but has won three Coppa Italia and two Serie A title since joining the Turin side back in 2014.

Inter Milan’s new boss Luciano Spalletti is the league’s second highest earner as he brings in €4 million (R61.9 million) per year. The 58-year-old has been entrusted to bring the club back to its former glory, a task the likes of Frank de Boer and Stefano Vecchi failed to do.

AC Milan manager Vincenzo Montella is in third place at the moment and is apparently earning €1 million (R15.4 million) less than his rivals coach. The 43-year-old is heading up the exciting project which will hopefully see the Rossoneri winning titles year after year.
