Juventus 7-0 Sassuolo
Gonzalo Higuain’s hat-trick helped Juventus to a 7-0 drubbing of Sassuolo.
Higuain netted three times in the second half, but the defending champions had by then already secured victory, having gone into half-time 4-0 up.
Sami Khedira scored twice, with Alex Sandro and Miralem Pjanic bagging goals either side of the German’s brace.
Hellas Verona 0-1 Roma
Cengiz Under’s first minute strike was enough to see Roma to victory against Hellas Verona despite a red card for Lorenzo Pellegrini in the 51st minute.
Udinese 1-1 AC Milan
Milan looked set for victory against Udinese following Suso’s early opener, but a 68th minute Davide Calabria red card and a 76th minute Gigi Donnarumma own goal meant they had to settle for the draw.
Benevento 0–2 Napoli
Napoli went back on top of the log in response to Juve’s victory, claiming one of their own against Benevento.
Dries Mertens scored in the 20th minute before Marek Hamsik doubled Napoli’s lead in the 47th with what proved to be the last goal of the game.
Inter Milan 1-1 Crotone
Eder put Inter ahead against Crotone in the 23rd minute, but Andrea Barberis’ 60th minute equaliser meant they had to share the spoils.
Other results:
Sampdoria 1-1 Torino
Cagliari 2-0 SPAL
Atalanta 1-0 Chievo
Bologna 1-2 Fiorentina
