Juventus eventually took the lead in the 83rd minute as Alves got on the end of Miralem Pjanic's cross and sent a headed past Berisha.
However, Atalanta leveled matters in the 89th minute as Remo Freuler slotted home from close range after his initial effort was saved by Buffon, 2-2.
