Rumours are stating that an unhappy Juventus star is set to snub Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United for Antonio Conte’s Chelsea.

UCL Draw: Real vs PSG, Chelsea vs Barca

According to English publication The Sun, Brazilian defender Alex Sandro has told his Italian employers that he wants to leave the club and that his preferred move is Stamford Bridge.

The Blues have been chasing the left back for quite some time already, but at one stage the Serie A club wanted around £80 million (R1.45 billion) for him.

The 26-year-old has seen his relationship with the Serie A champions deteriorated as the season has gone on and many believe it is only a matter of time before he leaves.

Conte is desperate to add a top quality left-sided defender to his squad in January so that he can rotate Marcos Alonso, who has already made 22 appearances this season.

Mourinho is also looking to bolster the left side of his defence and has identified Tottenham Hotspur star Danny Rose and Sandro as his two options.

The Brazilian wing back has made 16 appearances for his club this season, scoring one goal and further assisting in five more.
