Defender Lucas Digne has struggled for regular time since joining, as he plays second fiddle to Jordi Alba.

According to Diario Sport, Barca would sanction a deal worth close to  €16 million despite the player's big buy-out clause.

The same report claims that Digne is seen as a likely replacement for Alex Sandro, who is reportedly set to joining Paris Saint-Germain next season.

Since joining Barca in 2016, Digne has only 45 appearances although he has won the LaLiga title.

Despite being second choice in his position, Digne has often proved reliable whenever he does play for the Catalan giants.
