Inter lost the services of last season's Player of the Season Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea this week, but have wasted no time in finding a replacement in Dzeko.
Dzeko will become the first Bosnian player to feature for the Nerazzurri after he penned a two-year deal with the club after leaving Roma.
Statement:
FC Internazionale Milano is pleased to announce the signing of Edin Dzeko. The forward has joined the club from Roma on a permanent transfer, having signed a two-year contract that runs until 30 June 2023.
The 35-year-old finished the 2020/2021 season with 13 goals and five assists across all competitions, but he will now be looking to improve on that tally under Simone Inzaghi this coming campaign.
The Italian champions also confirmed the signing of Netherlands international Denzel Dumfries from PSV Eindhoven on a permanent deal.
