AC Milan have announced the signing of Juventus and Argentina international Gonzalo Higuain on a season-long loan, with an option to buy.
The 30-year-old striker joined the Bianconeri from Napoli in 2016, and has won the league on two occasions, along with the two Italian Cups, since.
It is believed the Rossoneri will pay a fee of £16 million (R276 million) to loan the forward from the Bianconeri, and will spend another £32.1 million (R554 million) next season to make the deal permanent.
The loan move has paved the way for further deals between the two clubs – Leonardo Bonucci has returned to Juve, while promising defender Mattia Caldara will go in the opposite direction, which has now been confirmed.
