Following reports that Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has agreed a deal to take charge of Juventus, the Italian club's sporting director has officially addressed the rumours.
Man City Chief On 'Pep To Juve' Rumours
Speculation in Italy had it that the Spaniard could be on his way to manager-less Juventus ahead of next season, although City recently denied the reports.
Juventus have now done the same, with sporting director Fabio Paratici insisting they have not yet found Massimiliano Allegri's replacement.
"I think we live in a strange world," he told DAZN.
"We didn't have any contact, we never even thought about it, because (Guardiola) is under contract, for a thousand reasons.
"It all seems very strange to me. We have clear ideas, we have already said it, we are doing our evaluations, and there are still many competitions in progress.
"Until all the competitions end, it seems to me right, out of respect for everyone, to remain in this situation."
