Palermo 1-1 Inter Milan
Inter Milan were forced to settle for a point, after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Palermo in their Serie A tie on Saturday evening.
Ivan Perisic handed Inter the lead after 60 minutes, before Alberto Gilardino rescued a point for the hosts with a strike in the 66th minute.
However, Roberto Mancini's ended the match with 10 men, after Jeison Murillo was shown his second yellow card of the game.
Carpi 1-2 Bologna
Bologna came from behind to secure a 2-1 win over Carpi at the Stadio Alberto Braglia on Saturday night.
Gaetano Letizia handed Carpi the lead in the 24th minute, as he fired home from six-yards, after being set up by Marco Borriello.
However, Daniele Gastaldello leveled matters shortly after break, before Adam Masina sealed the win for Bologna in stoppage time.
Empoli 2-0 Genoa
In the first fixture of the day, goals from Rade Krunic and Piotr Zielinski handed Empoli a 2-0 win over Genoa to move up to 12th in the Serie A standings.
