African Star Guides Juve Past Roma, Milan Lose Again

Juventus 1-0 AS Roma

Juventus extended their unbeaten run to four games in Serie A after recording a 1-0 win over AS Roma on Saturday.

Morocco international Medhi Benatia scored the game's only goal after just 18 minutes.

The Serie A champions remain in second half, one point leaders Napoli.

Napoli 3-2 Sampdoria

Napoli maintained top spot for another after defeating Sampdoria 3-2 on Saturday afternoon.

Goals from Gaston Ramirez and Fabio Quagliarella put the visitors 2-1 up after Allen had netted for Napoli in the 16th minute.

Lorenzo Insigne pulled the home side level in the 33rd minute before Marek Hamsik scored what proved to be the winning goal six minutes later.

By scoring the winning goal, Hamsik overtook Diego Maradona as Napoli's all-time leading scorer with 116 goals.

Sassuolo 1-0 Inter Milan

Inter Milan's title charge took a knock after they lost 1-0 to Sassuolo with Diego Falcinelli scoring the game's only goal in the 34th minute.

AC Milan 0-2 Atalanta

AC Milan's struggles in the league continued after they lost 2-0 to Atalanta at the San Siro.

Bryan Cristante and Josip Iličić were on target to lead to the visitors to victory on the day.
