Inter Milan 2-1 Bologna
Inter Milan kept their top four hopes alive with a 2-1 win over Bologna at the San Siro on Saturday night.
The hosts had to wait until the second half for goals, as Ivan Perisic struck in the 72nd minute, before Danilo D'Ambrosio sealed the win four minutes later. Franco Brienza struck in stoppage time to earn the visitors a consolation strike.
The victory keeps Roberto Mancini's side in fifth spot, although they are only two points behind Fiorentina. While, Bologna remain in ninth spot.
Empoli 1-1 Sampdoria
Empoli and Sampdoria were forced to share the spoils, after they played out to a 1-1 draw at the Stadio Carlo Castellani on Saturday evening.
Fabio Quagliarella handed the visitors the lead five minutes before the halftime break. Vincent Laurini secured a point for the hosts with a goal in the 81st minute.
The point sees Empoli move up one spot into 10th, while rise to 13th position.
