Juventus picked up their first league win with a 2-0 victory over Genoa at the Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris on Sunday afternoon.
Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri made two changes from the side that beat Manchester City, as he brought in Andrea Barzagli and Mario Lemina for Leonardo Bonucci and Hernanes.
The home side nearly broke the deadlock in the 11th minute when Perotti picked out Diego Capel in the box, but the forwards header sailed just over the crossbar.
Juventus were then dealt a blow in the 22nd minute when striker, Alvaro Morata, had to be substitute due to a groin injury. He was replaced by Roberto Pereyra.
The Serie A champions nearly found the opener in the 27th minute when Juan Cuadrado showed good work down right, before picking out Patrice Evra, who headed over at the far post.
The deadlock was eventually broken in the 37th minute when Eugenio Lamanna turned home Paul Pogba's flick into his own net to hand Juventus the lead.
It went from bad to worst for Genoa just before the halftime break, Armando Izzo was given his marching orders after picking up his second yellow card of the game.
Cuadrado nearly bagged his first goal for Juventus in the 52nd minute, but the Colombian's low effort from the edge of the area sailed inches wide of the upright.
Juventus were then presented with a chance to double the lead in the 60th minute when they were awarded a penalty, which Paul Pogba converted into the bottom left-hand corner.
The host tried reduce the deficit in the 76th minute as Panagiotis Tachtsidis collected the ball on the edge of the area, before rifling an effort just over the crossbar.
Juventus managed to see out the remaining stages with relative ease to secure their first win of the Serie A campaign.
