After a quiet spell in the first half, the hosts nearly drew level just before the halftime break, as Dybala collected a pass from Pereyra, before rifling an effort just past the upright from 25-yards out.
Juventus manager, Massimiliano Allegri, decided to introduce Paul Pogba at the start of the second half for Claudio Marchisio.
Buffon had to be at his best in the 52nd minute, as the Juventus goalkeeper reacted well to keep out Cesar's acrobatic effort.
The Champions were struggling to find an equaliser and Allegri decided to change things up again, bringing on Juan Cuadrado and Mario Mandzukic.
However, Juventus were awarded a penalty in the 83rd minute when Cuadrado had been brought down in the box. Dybala stepped and converted from 12-yards out to earn Juve a point.
