Juventus veteran goalkeeper, Gianluigi Buffon, broke a long-standing Serie A record in his side's 4-1 win over Torino.
The 38-year-old broke Sebastiano Rossi's 20-year-old record for the most minutes without conceding a goal in the Italian top flight.
Buffon only needed 181 seconds on Sunday to break the former AC Milan goalkeeper's record. He could have stretched his time even further, but went on to concede his first goal since January when Andrea Belotti netted a consolation for Torino from the penalty spot.
Rossi's record was 929 consecutive minutes through 11 matches in the 1993-1994 Serie A campaign. However, Buffon now holds the record, having gone 974 minutes without a goal conceded - which included 10 clean sheets, which is also a new Serie A record.
The Juventus defence has been vital to club's resurgent run in the league, where they currently occupy top spot, three points ahead of Napoli.
