Following a meeting with Juve's board last Friday, Allegri and the Italian giants seemingly came to an agreement their working relationship is over.
The 51-year-old won 11 titles in five years at the club, but fell short in the UEFA Champions League, which may have influenced the board's decision to suggest a change.
Former Bianconeri boss Antonio Conte is tipped to be the strong favourite to replace Allegri, but Sky Sport Italia recently claimed the ex-Chelsea manager is closer to joining to Inter Milan than he is to returning to Turin.
A recent report suggested that Ronaldo is against the idea of Conte taking over at Juventus, with the Portuguese forward believed to be in favour of Jose Mourinho getting the job, as per the Daily Mail.
Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino also features in the list, as does perhaps someone who might be considered a shock inclusion, Zinedine Zidane. The Frenchman returned to Real Madrid just two months ago, but is believed to be having issues with the Los Blancos board.
A manager who has emerged as a leading candidate in recent days is Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri, with the Italian reportedly demanding that the Blues to let him know whether or not they plan on keeping him in his job ahead of next season.
