The Welshman is set to bring an end to an 11-year stay with Arsenal this season, and will join a long list of superb free signings made by the Bianconeri over the years.
Ramsey, who is set to be unveiled as an official Juventus player on 1 July, is expected to compete with the likes of Miralem Pjanic, Emre Can, Rodrigo Bentancur, Blaise Matuidi and Sami Khedira for a place in Massimiliano Allegri's starting XI in the 2019/20 campaign.
However, he is not the only star player who was snapped up by Juve on a free transfer. Another was three-time UEFA Champions League winner Dani Alves, who was signed in 2016.
Despite only spending one season with Juventus, the Brazilian defender added a Serie A winner's medal and a Coppa Italia title to his impressive trophy collection – currently the joint-biggest of any player in the game, alongside his former Barcelona teammate Maxwell. Alves also played an integral role in the Turin outfit's journey to the Champions League final that year, and was included in the FIFA FIFPro World XI in 2017 for the seventh time of his career.
Germany star and 2014 FIFA World Cup winner midfielder Sami Khedira, who has won almost every trophy on offer in stints with Stuttgart, Real Madrid and Juve, also joined the Serie A outfit on a free transfer in 2015.
The trophies have not dried up for the 31-year-old, who has won three Serie A titles, three Coppa Italias as well as the Supercoppa Italiana title – the first trophy Cristiano Ronaldo lifted for Juventus since completing a €100 million (R1.59 billion) move from Los Blancos last year.
Other big stars who were signed by Juventus on a free include Andrea Pirlo and Paul Pogba – click through the gallery above to see all 10 names!
