Los Blancos are primed for a massive transfer window after their below-par 2018/19 campaign.
Rodrygo Goes and Eder Militao have already been signed by the Spanish giants, while reports suggest that Chelsea's Eden Hazard and Eintracht Frankfurt's Luka Jovic have also agreed to join, with their deals set to be announced in the coming weeks.
Zidane's recruitment will seemingly not end there, however, with the Frenchman having identified Liverpool's Salah as another target, according to Canal+ journalist Philippe Carayon.
"Concerning Real Madrid and its reconstruction, after Hazard, Zidane and Real want another big striker," Carayon said.
"It is Mohamed Salah. This is, after Hazard, their other priority.
"They want to build a super big trio of attack. We know that he (Zidane) does not want any more of Bale.
"With Salah, it flows naturally."

It remains to be seen, though, whether or not Real will be able to tempt Salah away from Anfied.
His agent recently dismissed rumours of the Egyptian leaving the Reds, while Salah himself has hinted that he will still be in the Premier League next season after missing out on the title on Sunday.
"We only lost one game all season," he said, as quoted by the Express.
"We gave everything. We got 97 points. We will fight next season for the title."

Salah and Liverpool are currently preparing for the UEFA Champions League final on 1 June, before the Egyptian will link up with his national team to take part in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, which kicks off on 21 June.
