With Zinedine Zidane reportedly ready to sign new players for Real Madrid in the next transfer window, it is believed he could smash the world transfer record to sign Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe.
According to France Football, Los Blancos will offer PSG £240 million (R4.4 billion) for the 20-year-old forward.
Zidane is said to be a big admirer of the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner, who was linked with a move to the Spanish giants in 2017.
The Real boss is reportedly determined to make Mbappe his star man, although prising him away from the French club might be difficult.
Les Parisiens are adamant the youngster will not be leaving at the end of this season, something the player himself also stated a few weeks ago.
Zidane apparently dreams of linking Mbappe up with the likes of Paul Pogba and Eden Hazard, both of whom are believed to be on the Frenchman's transfer wish list.
Since his arrival at the Ligue 1 champions two years ago, Mbappe has scored 57 goals and assisted a further 32 strikes in 85 matches.
