Having loaned Spain international Alvaro Odriozola to Bayern Munich earlier in the week, LaLiga giants Real Madrid have now confirmed another January departure.
On Friday, Los Blancos announced, via their official website, that the club had reached an agreement with Granada and Wolverhampton Wanderers that would see Jesus Vallejo move to Granada on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 23-year-old, who previously enjoyed short-term stints at Eintracht Frankfurt and Real Zaragoza, had spent the first half of the season on loan at Wolves but managed just seven appearances across all competitions for the Premier League outfit.
Granada confirmed the deal via their official Twitter account, and revealed that the former Spain youth international has already begun training with his new colleagues in Barcelona and will be officially presented next Monday.
Vallejo was part of the Spain squads that won the U19 and U21 UEFA European Championships in 2015 and 2019, respectively, but is yet to be capped at senior international level.
