The Catalan outfit were said targeting Neymar before the 2019/2020 season got underway, but did not want to pay the €200million PSG asked for.
It is now being reported that the Ligue 1 champions have lowered their asking price to €150million and Barcelona are apparently still keen on the Brazilian attack.
Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo is now reporting that Barcelona are set to have a reduced transfer budget due to the financial pressure of the coronavirus which has seen the club close down their club store and stadium tours.
As a result, the Blaugrana are likely to offer player plus in the hopes of sweetening the deal for Neymar, who is reportedly keen on returning to the Camp Nou.
The players reported to be in the big swap deal are French trio Ousmane Dembele, Samuel Umtiti and Jean-Clair Todibo, who is currently out on loan at Bundesliga outfit Schalke.
Schalke have the option to make Todibo's loan deal permanent next season, while both Dembele and Umtiti have missed large chunks of the season due to injury troubles and could be on their way out.
