Liverpool starlet Harvey Elliott reportedly once snubbed the chance to meet Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos after his challenge on Mohamed Salah in the 2017/18 UEFA Champions League final.
Before he eventually chose to join Jurgen Klopp's Reds, the 17-year-old Englishman was believed to be shown around at Los Blancos as the Spanish giants eyed his signature.
It has now been claimed that, upon his tour of Real last year, Elliott was asked if he wanted to meet the club's legendary captain Ramos, but turned down the chance because of the defender's tackle that forced Salah off in Liverpool's loss to the Spanish giants in the 2017/18 UCL final.
"No, it's okay, thanks. I don't like him after what he did to Mo Salah," he was quoted as replying, according to The Athletic.

The youngster also discussed how much he has learnt from the Egyptian since his arrival at Liverpool, revealing that the African star has been a positive influence on him.
"Mo is the King. Going up against him in training I learn a lot of things. I idolise him a lot.
"Even in the gym, he helps and tells me to do higher weights to push myself even more.
"He's a really big influence on the young players."
