Pitso Mosimane has broken his silence on the reported fallout with an Al Ahly star, who was suspended by the club this week.
The Red Devils released a statement this week confirming that Mahmoud Kahraba had been suspended for 30 days, althoug they did not disclose why.
Egyptian publication KingFut reported that there may have been a falling out between the 26-year-old winger and Mosimane, who addressed the issue after the CAF Champions League draw with AS Vita Club.
“We love all the players in the team, sometimes such things happen, and this is normal," Mosimane was quoted as saying by KingFut.
“In the family, one or two people can cross the boundaries, but in the end, you must preserve morals within the team.
“We must preserve the atmosphere inside the locker room so that we do not lose the team for the sake of an individual.
“At Al Ahly, there are those who missed due to COVID-19 and there are those who did not participate because of injury, but in the end, the team was winning.
“You can review the results, any player who does not participate for any reason, you will find in the end that the team wins, and this is evidence of the importance of the team.
“Ethics are important to us, commitment must prevail, we love all the players.
“The name of Al Ahly is bigger than anyone. This is before I was here. Al Ahly has principles and we will continue to preserve those principles, with the assurance that we love all players."
