A former Al Ahly player has been heavily critical of his former club's recent performances and thinks the Red Devils might not make it out of this season's CAF Champions League group stage.
The Egyptian giants claimed a 2-1 victory over El Gaish in a league clash on Sunday, but were defeated 1-0 by Simba SC in a CAFCL clash early last week in a display that drew a lot of criticism.
Ex-Al Ahly attacker Abdelhamid Hassan seems to be unsure of former Mamelodi Sundowns boss Pitso Mosimane, saying some of the South African's tactics do not make sense to him.
"Mosimane's technical performance is unconvincing, we do not know his ideas or his style of play," he told OnTime Sport.

"We see more than one way of playing, and changes in positions, it's confusing to me. Although his record is good, Al Ahly did not appear in their normal form in the (FIFA Club) World Cup.
"People expect many things from Al Ahly and Zamalek coaches, but this is not what we see in Mosimane, his performances are really confusing.
"I am afraid of the next period, positive results are likely to happen, but with luck.
"In the Simba match in the Champions League, they performed really well against Al Ahly and won. The team's form doesn't reassure the Red Castle fans.
"There is a feeling among Al Ahly fans now that they will be knocked out of the group stage. With this performance, it is very likely that the Red Giants will bid farewell to the tournament from this round."
