Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly wants one of his teammates benched for the UEFA Champions League final in Cardiff.
According to Diario Gol, Ronaldo and a few of his teammates do not want to see Gareth Bale start ahead of Isco in the UCL final against Juventus on 3 June.
The Portugal captain apparently feels the team is more balanced when the Spanish midfielder is on the field, and the club's recent strong performances seemingly support this theory.
Many reports suggest that Bale is expected to return from injury in time for the Champions League decider between Real and the Bianconeri.
The Welshman has struggled with a number of injuries this season, missing 27 matches for Los Blancos so far in this campaign.
Real captain Sergio Ramos is believed to be one of those who agree with Ronaldo regarding the Wales talisman, but it will be interesting to see if manager Zinedine Zidane shares the same view.
Bale has made 26 appearances across all competitions for Santiago Bernabeu club this season, scoring nine goals and assisting five further strikes.
