Cristiano Ronaldo bagged a brace, while Casemiro and Marco Asensio also found the back of the net to secure the club's 12th Champions League crown.

Ronaldo's opening goal created history, as Los Blancos became the first team to score 500 goals in the Champions League.

Los Blancos are also the first team to defend their title in the Champions League era.

In addition, Real extended their lead as most successful team in the competition, lifting their 12th European Cup overall.
