The four-time Ballon d'Or winner has found himself in the headlines for various reasons this season, and has admitted he is sick of how the media portrays him sometimes, explaining that he is not happy with the way his private life gets dragged through the public eye as it affects his family.
"People talk about me like I'm a delinquent. I'm no saint but nor am I a devil. People talk about me and do not know a damn thing," Ronaldo told Marca.
"I do not watch TV because if I did I would not have a life, given how much they talk about me badly in football and outside of football. When people talk about Cristiano, he is wrong.
"Football criticism does not worry me because I know that people are going to be silent there. They always have two stones in their hands when I speak.
"I do not like it because I have a family, a mother, a son, and I do not like being put like the others when they do stupid things. I do not do nonsense."
The Portuguese forward also hailed everyone involved with his team after they captured the La Liga title on Sunday.
"Since the beginning of the season we have wanted to win the league and we are in luck," Ronaldo added.
"We have had a spectacular end of the season, the best of recent years. We have had a smarter management, with the help of the coach and the players who have played less."

The title is Los Blancos' first La Liga crown since 2012, and they will have an opportunity to add another trophy to their cabinet when they face Juventus in the UEFA Champions League final on 3 June.
