Real Madrid have been linked with the likes of David De Gea and Kylian Mbappe, but the club's first signing has now been revealed.
GloryLos Blancos have confirmed the signing of 16-year-old Vinicius Junior from Brazilian club, Flamengo.
The forward will officially become a Los Blancos player in July 2018, but he will remain with Flamengo until July 2019.
A statement on the club's official website read: Real Madrid CF and Clube de Regatas do Flamengo have agreed to transfer the rights of the player Vinicius Junior from July 2018.
"The player will remain in his current club until July 2019, although he may play in Real Madrid If both clubs agree.
FC Barcelona were also reportedly keen on the the highly-rated youngster, but the 11-time Champions League winners have won the race for his services.
