The Spain international, who started in the Blaugrana's 5-1 demolition of Villarreal on Wednesday, announced last month that he would be calling time on his Camp Nou stay at the end of the season, but insisted he would not move to any European club.
When asked about the reports linking him with teams in the Chinese Super League, the Japanese J-League and the A-League in Australia, Iniesta was vague with his answer and did not give much away.
"I said that I would not go to Europe and apart from that, all possibilities are open," Iniesta told beIN SPORTS.
"They said I am not going to China, now they say Japan is an option, and I have also heard Australia.
"You will know when I tell you. There are things to seal, little details, and I will try and choose the best option."
The 33-year-old also said he is trying to enjoy his last couple of games at his boyhood club and feels there is still a unique milestone for Barca to achieve before he leaves.
"I try to enjoy each minute as there is not long to go, and to be on the pitch is what I want. I have a week and a half left to enjoy and when the season ends, my mind will be on the national team and my future," Iniesta added.
"It is not easy going so many games unbeaten. We have the chance to finish like that, and it gives us a lot of enthusiasm.
"We will try to (stay unbeaten) and finish with this run. I do not know if it has been done before, but it is very exciting."
Iniesta has made 42 appearances for the Catalan giants so far this season, scoring two goals and assisting a further four strikes.
