Argentina forward, Sergio Aguero, jokes his countryman Lionel Messi dreams of being like him, rather than the other way around.
Aguero has scored 52 in 87 games since moving to Manchester City as well as 21 goals for Argentina so far.
The good friend Messi joked in an event to promote a new PUMA boot about the idea that he wants to be as good as the Barcelona forward: “I don't dream about being like Messi... because he dreams of being like me!"
Argentina will face Bosnia-Herzegovina, Nigeria and Iran in the group phase, and Aguero and Messi are expected to find their goal-scoring form early in tournament.
However, Aguero insisted “there will be no easy games”, and he will not be downhearted if he goes blank in the first few game.
"If I fail to score in the group stage, I can keep believing I will score in the knockout stage, because that's already happened to me," he added.
"It happened in Beijing at the Olympics. I was in the starting XI throughout the group stage and I didn't score. Then in the quarter-finals I didn't score, but the manager believed in me and in the semi-finals I scored twice against Brazil.
"You have to stay calm and believe the goals will come. You might score loads of goals in the group stage and then none in the latter stages."
