Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly desperate to help Serie A giants Juventus land the signature of an in-demand Portuguese wonderkid said to be valued at €120 million (R1.9 billion).
Benfica's teenage sensation Joao Felix has been in excellent form so far this season, scoring 18 goals and managing a further nine assists in 39 games across all competitions.
As a result, the 19-year-old is said to have attracted interest from a host of top European clubs, including Manchester City, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
According to Portuguese newspaper A Bola, five-time Ballon d'Or winner Ronaldo is eager to unite with his countryman in Italy, and would do anything to see the move materialise. His club is now considered the frontrunners for the young attacker, whose current contract with Benfica expires in 2023.
The teenager's representative Jorge Mendes is also Ronaldo's agent, which could give the Italian giants a massive boost in their pursuit of the player.
The Bianconeri face stiff competition for Felix's services from City, who are reportedly keen to activate his €120 million release clause.
