Following Zlatan Ibrahimovic's recent controversial remarks about Cristiano Ronaldo's move to Juventus, the legendary Swede has insisted that he stands by his previous statements.
After joining the Bianconeri, Ronaldo said he was excited at the challenge that lay ahead of him at Juve, words Ibrahimovic did not agree with.
The towering Swede, who once played for Juve, insisted at the time that he did not feel the move was as much of a test as the Portuguese made it out to be as the Italian club is already a European powerhouse.
Ibrahimovic has once again reiterated his initial remarks, suggesting that he and Ronaldo perhaps have different meanings for the word "challenge".
"I didn't say his transfer wasn't great," he told DAZN.
"I said that it wasn't a challenge to join Juventus. It's not a challenge to go to one of the best teams in the world.
"Maybe it depends on what you mean by challenge. For me, a challenge is joining a team and taking them far. That's a challenge."
Since his arrival at Juventus, Ronaldo has scored 20 goals and assisted a further 11 strikes in 31 games across all competitions.
