The 32-year-old left the field with blood streaming down his face during Los Blancos' win over Deportivo La Coruna after diving for a header and catching defender Fabian Schar's foot at the same time.
Ronaldo, understandably concerned, used a phone on the sidelines to look at the damage he suffered.
Although the superstar's bloodied face was a cause for concern, Zidane suggested there was little damage suffered by the forward.
"He has got a wound and I think he's been given two or three stitches," he said, according to Sky Sports.
"He's all right."
Ronaldo has now scored six LaLiga goals in 15 matches so far this season, while he has assisted a further three goals.
