Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is close to joining Juventus, and it has been said that he has contacted former Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti, who is at Napoli, about the €100 million (R1.5 billion) move.
The Portuguese is reportedly nearing a transfer to the Italian champions, after falling out with the Real board towards the end of last season.
Reports in Italy and Spain have said Ronaldo could sign for the Old Lady for around €100 million (R1.5 billion), though it has been claimed that Juve and Real are yet to agree terms.
The 33-year-old is said to be set on joining Juve, but according to Corriere dello Sport, he has contacted his former Real boss, Ancelotti, about the possible move.
Ronaldo reportedly wanted to ask his ex-manager questions about the Italian top flight, as well as about Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri.
Ancelotti was believed to have told the Portugal captain that Allegri would be a great manager to work with, advice that Ronaldo has seemingly taken on board.
The two clubs are still reportedly in discussions over the deal, but all reports suggest the superstar is almost certain to become a Juve player before the end of this window.
