What Lionel Messi Told El Clasico Referee At HT Revealed?
After Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos claimed Lionel Messi pressured the referee during half-time of the latest El Clasico, eyewitnesses have now reportedly revealed the alleged insults the FC Barcelona superstar hurled at the official.
Messi and Ramos clashed during the first half of the fixture, and tempers boiled over when Barca's Sergi Roberto was dismissed for a punch on Marcelo on the brink of half-time.
There are reports of a heated exchange between Nacho and Gerard Pique in the tunnel during the break, while Ramos has insisted that Messi pressured the referee, but did not reveal what the Argentine said to Alejandro Hernandez Hernandez.
"I know what he (Messi) said but I'm not going to repeat it here," Ramos said after the game, as quoted by Marca.
The Spanish publication also claimed that Madrid officials are furious with Messi for the way he approached the referee in the tunnel, with eyewitnesses stating that the Argentine used foul language to influence the official.
"You s**t, you s**t, thinking it's always good to give them (Real Madrid) things," Messi apparently said to the match official, according to Marca.
Los Blancos' bosses are reportedly upset following the Blaugrana superstar's antics, with the message coming out of the club being that "Messi's chat in the tunnel is the biggest thing" they have seen in a while, according to the aforementioned Spanish publication.
On the pitch, Messi responded by scoring his 26th El Clasico in the second half, despite his side being down to 10 men following Roberto's sending-off.
