Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has been heavily tipped to join Juventus in this transfer window. Is this what Los Blancos' record goalscorer could earn in Italy?
With the Portuguese said be unhappy in Spain, Italian publication Tuttosport believes Ronaldo is close to joining Juventus.
They have reported that the 33-year-old is edging nearer to a deal with the Italian champions after he made it clear to Los Blancos that he wishes to leave the club.
Ronaldo was reportedly disappointed that Real failed to offer him a new deal in this past season, something the Spanish giants had promised him.
Spanish publication Sport have claimed that the former Manchester United man will earn about €30 million (R478 million) a season in Italy, while it is believed he will join the Bianconeri for a fee of about €100 million (R1.6 billion).
It is believed that the negotiations for this deal began a month ago already, although Ronaldo apparently only decided that he will join Juve after Portugal's exit from the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
It has also been claimed that Juventus want to pay the money for Ronaldo in instalments, while Los Blancos want to be paid up front which would then allow them to spend on reinforcements.
If he joins them, do you think Ronaldo will be a success at Juve? Let us know in the comments section below.
