European football's governing body announced its annual Team of the Year on Wednesday, after more than two million votes were cast by users on UEFA's official website.
The team lines up in a 4-2-4 formation, with five of Liverpool's Champions League winners making the cut.
However, while Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson and Sadio Mane were selected for the 2019 Best XI, Salah was snubbed.
The Egyptian winger was omitted to make space for Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Robert Lewandowski in the attacking positions.
Matthijs de Ligt, Frenkie de Jong and Kevin De Bruyne are the other stars who complete the 2019 UEFA Team of the Year.
Seven of the players were voted into the selection for the first time, while Ronaldo features a record-breaking 14th time.
