Transfer Update: Mbappe, Ronaldo, Grealish & Pogba

Here is the latest on the futures of Real Madrid-linked Kylian Mbappe, Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, Manchester City target Jack Grealish and Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, with the transfer window set to close at the end of this month.

Kylian Mbappe

It has been reported by AS that Los Blancos will soon make their first official move for the 22-year-old Paris Saint-Germain forward, who has reportedly told the French giants he will not sign a new contract in Paris. Mbappe's current deal expires next year, and he is said to be heavily interested in joining the 13-time UEFA Champions League winners, although the Spanish side might still need to sell more players in order to afford Mbappe in this window.

Cristiano Ronaldo

According to Goal, Ronaldo could have joined PSG in a swap deal for Mauro Icardi in this window, but the Argentine striker refused to go in the opposite direction. Juventus have reportedly been interested in the former Inter Milan captain's services for a while, but he might have now decided that his current club is the best place for him to be, following the arrivals of Achraf Hakimi, Gianluigi Buffon, Georginio Wijnaldum and Sergio Ramos.

Jack Grealish

ESPN has suggested that City are confident they have done enough to land the 25-year-old's signature ahead of the coming campaign, although reports state the Aston Villa playmaker feels incredibly torn and is going to take some more time to decide his future. Villa is the attacking midfielder's boyhood club, whom he currently captains. It still seems unclear as to whether or not Harry Kane skipping training to force a move to City on Monday will change the Premier League champions' stance on Grealish.

Paul Pogba

Sky Sports recently reported that the 28-year-old sees his long-term future at the Red Devils, despite reports last week suggesting that he could join PSG ahead of next season. The Frenchman has a contract in England until 2022 and there have been concerns that he could look to either run that deal down or force a transfer away from United in this window. He could, however, soon signal his intentions to stay at the club.
