After Juventus insisted they do not want to sell Cristiano Ronaldo, the player's stance on his future has now seemingly been revealed.
Juve sporting director Fabio Paratici and vice-president Pavel Nedved have both come out and stated that the superstar is going nowhere.
However, Ronaldo might think differently after the Bianconeri were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League by Porto earlier this month, and could miss out on the Serie A title to Inter Milan.
It is said that Ronaldo believes his time at Juventus will soon come to an end after the Italian giants failed in their attempts to win the Champions League with him in their side, getting knocked out by Ajax Amsterdam, Olympique Lyon and Porto over the past three seasons.
According to Marca, the Portugal talisman is keen to return to Real Madrid, where he seemingly feels he would have a bigger chance of adding a sixth UCL trophy to his collection.
Although Juve have publicly stated they are planning ahead to next season with the superstar still in their minds, AS has reported that they would let him go if any interested party meets their €25 million (R438 million) asking price.
His €31 million (R544 million) annual salary weighs heavily on the Bianconeri's wage bill and overall balance sheet, but they would reportedly be prepared to see out his contract should no feasible offer arrive.
