Having missed Paris Saint-Germain's past two matches through injury, Neymar's manager Thomas Tuchel has insisted the player cannot feature for Brazil in the upcoming international break.
The 28-year-old limped off injured in the first half of the French giants' win over Istanbul Basaksehir in the UEFA Champions League last week, and missed his team's Ligue 1 match against Nantes this past weekend as a result.
Despite his knock, Neymar has not yet been removed from Tite's latest Selecao selection, although Tuchel has insisted the former FC Barcelona star should not feature for his country later this month.
"He has a small injury to the adductor," he told PSG TV.
"He will be back after the break.
"I think he cannot play for Brazil. If he plays all the matches, it means that he is not injured, but he is.
"The information is that he will return (from injury) after the break."
Brazil will host Venezuela for a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier on 14 November, and then travel to Uruguay for another qualifying match four days later.
