While Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland and Ronaldo are both tie on 11 goals for their respective clubs in 2020, the 19-year-old Norwegian takes top spot due to playing fewer minutes.
While the Juventus forward averages a goal every 65 minutes since the turn of the year for his club, Haaland has found the back of the net every 46 minutes for BVB across all platforms.
Third in the ranking is Serie A’s current leading scorer Ciro Immobile, who has been terrific for Lazio in the 2019/20 season so far, continuing his form in the new year with 10 strikes in as many matches in Italy’s top division and Europe.
Atalanta forward Josip Ilicic comes in at fourth on the list with his nine goals in 2020, which is two more than the fifth-placed Bayern Munich attacker Serge Gnabry.
The German international is ahead of some of Europe’s biggest names in Robert Lewandowski and Messi, who, with only five goals this year so far, does not feature in the top 10. To see the full list, click through the gallery above.
