The Juventus superstar netted his 15th strike of the campaign in his side's 3-1 victory over Sassuolo.
In addition, he equalled the goals tally scored by Josef Bican, football’s leading scorer of all-time and became the first player in Europe's top five leagues to score at least 15 goals in 15 successive years.
Ronaldo is currently also the leading goalscorer in Serie A, but sits five strikes behind Robert Lewandowski in the Golden Shoe race.
The latter became the first Bundesliga player to net 20 goals after just 15 games since Gerd Muller, and is on track to break the Bayern Munich legend’s record of 40 strikes during a German top-flight campaign.
Both Lewandowski and Ronaldo netted once over the weekend, extending their respective leads over Mohamed Salah, who remained in third place with 13 strikes.
Salah is followed by a group of five stars with 12 goals, while Messi has climbed into the top 10 following his brace over Granada - you can see the complete list by scrolling through the gallery above.
