Ronaldo scored in Juventus' 2-0 victory over AS Roma on Saturday to end his mini-drought and take his Serie A tally to 16 strikes for the campaign.
He has now netted as many league goals as Luis Suarez, Mohamed Salah and Kylian Mbappe, who were both on the scoresheet over the weekend, this season, while Eintracht Frankfurt forward Andre Silva also scored on Sunday to stay in second place.
His 17 strikes, though, are seven fewer than the haul Robert Lewandowski has, despite the Poland star's failure to find the back of the net in Bayern Munich's 1-0 win over Hertha Berlin on Friday after missing a first-half penalty.
Romelu Lukaku, Ciro Immobile and Erling Haaland are among the chasing pack with 14 goals each, while Lionel Messi is one of eight players who have scored 13 times in league action so far in this campaign.
