There have been many reports recently suggesting that the 26-year-old could return to Barca, the club he left in 2017 for Paris Saint-Germain for a world-record transfer fee.
Neymar has reportedly not been entirely happy since moving to Paris, although he has achieved spectacular numbers domestically in France.
Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda believes a return to the Camp Nou could be on the cards for Neymar, but claimed three top stars would have to be sacrificed.
"Barca have done their sums and worked out they must get rid of Luis Suarez, Ousmane Dembele and Arturo Vidal to be able to pay their current record," he said, according to the Daily Express.
It is believed the Spanish giants would not be able to afford the Brazilian's salary demands if they do not free up some funds.
Suarez reportedly earns about £18 million (R319 million) a season in Spain, while Dembele and Vidal are both on £12 million (R213 million) annually.
