With three and a half months having already passed in 2019, here are the leading goalscorers across Europe's five toughest leagues so far this year. While FC Barcelona's Lionel Messi and Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe are at the top, Juventus' Cristiano Ronaldo is not even in the top 10.

Despite getting off to an incredible start, Duvan Zapata has found himself drop from first to sixth place over the past month and a half.
The Atalanta striker has added just two goals since the previous update, and has been overtaken by Real Madrid's Karim Benzema.
The French forward has found the back of the net on 11 occasions since the turn of the year, the same as Manchester City talisman Sergio Aguero, who, despite his recent form, was not selected for Argentina's latest squad.

First on the list is PSG's Mbappe, who has scored the same number of goals Messi has, but in two less matches. The 20-year-old has been terrific for the French giants all season, and will be hoping to improve on his fourth-place finish for the Ballon d'Or last year.
