FC Barcelona's Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez as well as Juventus pair Cristiano Ronaldo and Mario Mandzukic are among the most dangerous attacking duos in Europe so far this season, but one partnership reigns above of the rest.

Messi and Suarez lead the Pichichi race for the best goalscorer in LaLiga having scored nine times each so far. With their 18 goals between them, they are currently the second-best duo in Europe's top five leagues, only beaten by Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.
With 11 goals, Mbappe is the leading goalscorer in Europe's top leagues in 2018/19 so far, while Neymar has hit the back of the net 10 times.
While Ronaldo and Mandzukic follow further down the ranking with 13 goals, two Bundesliga duos are hot on the leaders' heels.
Eintracht Frankfurt's Luka Jovic and Sebastien Haller have scored 17 times between them this season, while Paco Alcacer and Marco Reus have found the back of the net on 16 occasions for Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga so far in this campaign.

Manchester City's Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling are the Premier League's most prolific duo with 14 goals, the same number of strikes Napoli's Lorenzo Insigne and Dries Mertens have scored between them, making them Serie A's top pair.
